New from Julie’s candy cart – The alternative kids party goody bags. Kiddy birthday cups and cello cones stuffed with sweetie treats. These save you the trouble of thinking about putting party bags together.
These are only £2 each plus delivery/postage charge.
Nearly two years ago I was holiday shopping on www.holidaylettings.co.uk. I was specifically looking for a villa with a private pool in Cyprus. I contacted half a dozen owners but one stood out for me, Jo Lamonby. She was super efficient, helpful and bent over backwards to help us with all the information that we needed. This made all the difference to our booking and our holiday.
During our holiday, which was fantastic, it came to light that Joe was in the process of starting her own villa lettings company. We stayed in touch and have just run a competition together for a free week in her luxury villa in Pernera, Cyprus with added extras.
In February 2011 I exhibited the candy cart at The Scottish Wedding Show at SECC, Glasgow for the first of many times. This is when I met the lovely Claire. She came to seek me out as she had heard there was a new exhibitor in the building with a unique little sweetie cart. The sweeties attract the best people!
Claire and I became friends and Claire has been a really great support to me in my business venture.
Well nearly 3 years on I thought it was about time I featured Claire on my blog by asking a few questions now as her little business is ever expanding and developing.
This is what I asked:-
Thanks to all the lovely brides and grooms to be who came to see me with my candy cart at The Scottish Wedding Show, SECC in Glasgow, on Sat 15th and Sun 16th September 2012. Thanks also for all the lovely comments about the candy cart.
Bookings for the Original and the Wee candy cart have been taken right into 2015!
I still have dates available in my diary for Spring and Summer weddings next year although Friday and Saturday dates are proving popular. Get in touch if you are interested in having lovely sweetie treats at your celebration.
New to Julie’s Candy Cart is Julie’s “Wee” Candy Cart. For all your smaller celebrations and for the wee ones parties.

I always ask my brides-to-be, on enquiring, where they heard about Julie’s Candy Cart. Google search, Wedding shows, facebook, twitter, online directories, referrals or bridal magazines have been the usual answers until yesterday.
Narelle took a few days to track down where she had heard about Julie’s Candy Cart. It began to irritate her as she couldn’t remember but knew she had seen it on a photograph somewhere. She retraced her steps and remembered that when she booked her wedding at Colzium House, Kilsyth, she had searched for photographs of her wedding venue. In this search she saw a Candy Cart set up at her venue. So she repeated the search and there it was featured in Julie Tinton’s blog. Julie had photographed Janet and Iain’s wedding last year where I had set up the candy cart as their wedding favours.
Julie Tinton is an Edinburgh based photographer and specialises in contemporary children’s portraiture and beautiful, timeless wedding photography. Julie has a blog where she likes to share her current images, thoughts and ideas.
It is thanks to Julie that I have just received a last minute booking for the candy cart at Narelle and Anthony’s wedding at such a beautiful venue, Colzium House.
I guess you all want to see the said blog, by Julie Tinton, that featured the candy cart at Janet and Iain’s wedding. Well here it is!

I would like to say thank you to Louise Graham of LHG Designs formerly Wedding and Baby for asking me to be involved and to Lindsay Rao of Sixpenny Blue for being a great hostess. Other mentions are via Alison’s blog.
Big Day Discounts kindly featured the Candy Cart on their blog page on Wednesday’s Wedding Faves. To read about how the candy cart came to be and all the latest developments and news just click on the links.
