The Replica Royal Mail post box and the beautiful wishing well post box are both now ready for hire. They can be hired with the candy cart with me delivering and setting them up for you or on a D.I.Y. basis with you picking up from me in Strathaven and setting them up yourself. This is a great way to get what you want on a budget. Contact me for further details.
The Ella May Pick ‘n’ Mix Stand is now available to hire on a D.I.Y. basis for anyone living in Strathaven or local to Strathaven. You can come and pick it up from me the day before or morning of the party and drop it back to me afterwards.
It comes with up to 8 perspex cube containers, tongs/scoops, sweetie bags, colour coordinated ribbons and organza for decoration.
I can provide the sweets also if you wish or you can cater for yourselves.
This stand also makes a great cupcake and party bag stand.

I have a gorgeous gold glitter wishing tree which stands over 2 feet tall. Also I now have a new white Manzanita wishing tree with crystal strands which stands over 3 feet tall. The wishing trees are an alternative to a traditional guest book. I hire them out at a reduced rate to anyone hiring the candy cart or post box. Reduced from £50/£60 plus price of tags to £25/£30 plus price of tags. Tags range from £2.00 – £4.50 for 10 depending on the design. A voile table cloth, scatter crystals, a bride and groom pen, a poem in a frame, to explain the use of the tree are all included in the hire price and a gift box will be given to the happy couple to keep their tags in afterwards.

Today on the blog is Snap Happy Media Photo Booth Hire. I met Pat a few years ago now during a wedding online chat/advice session for brides and grooms to be. We got chatting about the business then some months later met again at a wedding fayre.
Snap Happy is a firm favourite not just for weddings but for any type of event. It’s Great Fun!
I asked Pat a few questions about the business and this is what he told me.
Tell us about Snap Happy Media and how/when you got started?
We are one of the longest established Photo Booth businesses in Scotland. When we started our small family run business, Photo Booths were all the rage in the States but still fairly new to the UK. But with our success has come many copycats and there are also quite a few who offer “photo booth experiences” without a booth! We are full time and dedicated to this business and can be relied upon to deliver what we say we will – we have NEVER let anyone down!
I have been so lucky in the last 5 years to meet so many lovely people through the wedding business. Recently I met the lovely Emma who runs her own wedding car hire business. She features on my blog today. We got chatting and this is what she told me.
Tell us about Rennicks Wedding Cars and how/when you got started? We started Rennicks Wedding car hire 13 months ago. It has been an amazing first year; I have loved every minute of it. Stephen my husband has a passion for cars he has been in the motor industry for 34 years. One day an old wedding car came into the garage and he said “Emma that is what you should do, start up a wedding car business.” Before I knew it he was building me our Stunning 1930’s Regent Landaulet car then we added another 4 cars to the fleet. I am very passionate about my cars and take pride in every job that we do. I have amazing people and employees around me which makes it such a wonderful job.

In February 2011 I exhibited the candy cart at The Scottish Wedding Show at SECC, Glasgow for the first of many times. This is when I met the lovely Claire. She came to seek me out as she had heard there was a new exhibitor in the building with a unique little sweetie cart. The sweeties attract the best people!
Claire and I became friends and Claire has been a really great support to me in my business venture.
